Dominique has nominated me to do this again as she is curious to see more of my part of the world and also Mel has been writing words to accompany my images over on her site – so here is some more material for you.
All pics this time have been taken in Lancaster, UK, this summer.
With regards choosing nominees. I really don’t enjoy doing that, so anyone who wants to take part is very welcome to do so!
The rules are: Seven days. Seven black and white photos of your life. No people. No explanation. Challenge someone new each day (yes I am breaking this rule!)
There is nothing I dont like about this picture. Such beautiful stone and I love the architecture. Any historical events in this particular place? ππ

Yes. Me walking up it from the bus station to my favourite coffee shop on days when I want to delay arriving at work!

It’s the best kind of history! ππ

Monochrome adds a strange perspective that I suspect wouldn’t be so pronounced in the original colour.
Much as I enjoy your black and white photos, I miss your paintings. π

Thank you Val. Unfortunately I am not that prolific due to the day job inconsiderately taking up much of my time. There will be more art along soonπ

I just love this. Spooky, mysterious and so much history.

Beautiful shot. I’m curious about the shop at the end of the alley. Do I read correctly: Bugcell’s?

Bucelli’s. It is an Italian bistro. Apparently good but I have not tried it yet. Fly over and you can try it with me!

I am very tempted to buy my ticket right away! I should first invest in a new pair of glasses, however.
