I am stunned by how much of this applies to me (except number 7 – nobody would ever call Mt Taciturn here a chatterbox).
This is so true. Especially 8, 11 and 12 for me!

Not me I am pleased to say. I plead guilty to 4, 5 and 12. I am a classic INFJ if you know the Myers Briggs type index. Pleased to hear you’re not a chatterbox. 😉

It is the permanent tiredness that gets to me the most.

That’s sad!
Aren’t there any vitamins or caffeine tablets you can take? Or even some homeopathic medicine like Scutelaria for instance?

A big part is true for me too! Not 5 and 7

Personally, one feels that labeling oneself as something or other usually has very negative repercussions. We can go through life without labeling the crap out of ourselves. 🙂

Well the good thing is at least there are many of us. I can relate to all.

Great article, Darren, thanks so much for sharing it as it shows how due to misjudgement we intoverts battle against our true needs and inclinations in a society that doesnt really ‘get’ us…And what we can do to cut ourselves some slack and take risks to overcome fears of overwhelm.

Thank you Deborah. It kind of hit home with me as it gives me a handle on the real cause of my depressive episodes and is something to discuss with my counsellor.

I think one of the ways to ameliorate anxiety is to get lots of hugs. Copious quantities of hugs. So guess what I’m sending your way in copious quantities? 🤗 ❤️ 🤗

This is me too Darren, also except for number 7! In fact, the more people that are around the quieter I get!

I do relate to 4 and 10. And for the past two months to 12. But I have no trouble falling asleep or staying asleep… Just feel very tired and this lack of energy is not me at all. Hopefully this will past soon now that we are getting more sunshine. Thanks for sharing Darren.

I know and I have been worried about you. We have known each other nearly a year and neither of us has had a holiday in that time. You badly need one Dominique. This is me nagging!😊
