Scilla bifoliaTecophilea cyanocrocusFicaria verna ‘Double Bronze’Gagea fibrosaIpheion dialystemonTrillium nivale, which should look familiar to my Michigan friends! The huge and highly scented flower of Galanthus ‘Peardrop’Hesperantha oliganthaCorydalis cheilanthifoliaOrchis italica – the Italian Man OrchidFritillaria crassifolia ssp kurdica
The last one is very like an Australian native called Boronia. (I am not good with Latin names). The brown one is known for its beautiful fragrance, even to the point of a perfume named after it (which was rubbish). All beautiful and well shot here. Glad to see some colour in your world.
It is an amazing blue Dominique. It is native to Chile and is rather like a Crocus but blue. Thought to be extinct in the wild for decades until rediscovered by accident in 2001. The whole remaining population is on an area smaller than a football pitch. Thankfully it is well established in cultivation. The amount of blue varies. Some varieties are nearly white with just a blue rim.
What a wonderful collection! We can share many things over the internet, why not scent? Someone has to devise a way to do that…now! I want to smell that Galanthus!
So beautiful !

How come flora and fauna are so much more beautiful than human beings, despite how much we reflect in front of the mirror? 😉
The colours are amazing!

Fritillaria is very unique and I can see why it is one of your favourites. I like it too but I am drawn to the amazing blue of Tecophilea cyanocrocus.

Ooh. Just googled Boronia and it is rather nice😄. I can see an interest in Australian plants developing…

That purple-blue (flower petals) is my absolute most favorite color in the world. It’s hard to find.
