See part one for the intro.
The rules are:
“Seven days. Seven black and white photos of your life. No people. No explanation. Challenge someone new each day”.
I want to point out that if I challenge you there is absolutely no obligation to take part. Also – if I don’t directly challenge you but you want to have a go at this then please do!

That is beautiful. Where is it?

Thank you 😀
Taken from the northern tip of Walney Island in Cumbria UK, looking NW across the Duddon Estuary towards the Lake District hills.

Beaches and lakes are pretty in any colour!

This was a rare day in NW England where the sky was a deep blue. Seemed a shame to render it grey – which is how our sky looks for 300+ days per year!

I keep seeing this challenge on Facebook. Hadn’t realise it’d got onto blogs, too! 🙂
Nice photo. Where do you take it? (Or am I not allowed to ask? I am not sure whether the ‘no explanation’ is meant to be for the poster or the commenter!)

I love this photo Darren. Lovely scenery. I can easily see myself taking long walk there and day dreaming. Is this your favourite beach you talked about in one of your previous post ? Is it the beach where you take Molly for a run?

Thank you and yes it is Dominique. In fact we are taking her there this afternoon!
I have given the location in other replies above (which I just got round to answering all at once) but for you let me explain the significance of the picture.
The picture was taken from North Walney National Nature reserve, which is a short walk from where we lived between 1987 and 2004 when my job moved to Lancaster. My wife grew up on the island and her family are still there.
The big hill you can see across the estuary is Black Combe in the southern Lake District. On the coast facing you at the foot of it and barely visible is the town of Millom where I was born and lived until I was 4.

Also, I like the way you added a note that a person needn’t feel obligated by the challenge. That’s kind. 🙂

Thank you. I did check if you had done this before scheduling my post but obviously you had not started yet!😀
I know some folks don’t like being put on the spot with awards etc, which is why i added that. I do try to be kind 😉💕

Thank you! It was hard to move away from there in 2004. Especially for my wife.

We were there again on saturday with Molly. It isn’t quite so appealing on a dull november day! 🙂

It’s probably as grey as the black and white photo, I presume? 😛
